Beth J. Bates, Owner
Social Media and Online Marketing Strategist
Beth Jackson Bates is the owner of Web Strategies Internet Solutions, LLC and a jack of all trades in the web world. She consults with small to mid-size businesses and nonprofits on social media tool selection and strategy and helps her clients find effective ways to leverage these mediums to meet business and marketing goals. With over 14 years experience in web development and marketing, Beth enjoys putting a new twist on traditional web technology. She helps her clients not only choose the right tools, but helps them understand their needs and how the tools work to fulfill those needs. She specializes in web development and how social marketing can help businesses expand their reach through their website.
Beth started her career developing small websites and quickly moved into managing custom software development projects. She has worked with companies like USA TODAY, where she was a three-time Jewell award winner, and the National Museum of Natural History and has ten years experience working with associations and nonprofits. With marketing technology at its height, she is now focusing on social marketing and what that means to business owner and/or executive director.
Beth founded GoodDogz.org, Inc. in 2003 to help fill a void in the animal welfare community. GoodDogz.org is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to educating potential dog owners on dog selection and care and supporting the efforts of rescue groups. We believe that by assisting with good dog-owner matches, we’ll give each family the best opportunity for a life-long relationship with their new dog and help to keep dogs out of shelters. She currently serves on its board of directors as president.
Beth actively blogs for WeTV.com about animal welfare and guest blogs for Pivotal Brands about social media and for TechSoup’s Nonprofit Commons about how nonprofits are using virtual worlds.
Beth is excited to listen to your ideas, discuss possible
solutions and manage your development
team until your project is launched.
She can also provide training, documentation
